We are excited to now be offering "at-home" courses that you can complete at your own pace!
We've already been implementing this program virtually for the last year, but with a zoom online class component; we will now be offering 100% self-guided programs, with no virtual/in-person instruction, but rather video lessons you'll watch weekly and will allow you to learn on your own.
With our program, we take the guesswork out of language learning - we tell you what to practice each week, and how to do so. You'll be provided with all the necessary materials to be successful.
At VSC we implement a "buddy" system for all of our classes, so that you're actually able to practice the material; we recommend signing up with a friend or family member, but if that's not an option, we'll be happy to connect you with a fellow student! Just send us an email and let us know you'd like to be assigned a buddy.

Courses we plan on offering:
--> Spanish Crash Course (for travelers with no experience)
--> Spanish 101 (for beginners with no experience)
--> Spanish 102 (for beginners with a little experience)
--> Spanish 103 (for beginners with some experience)
Nothing new is easy - that's why we recommend signing up with a friend, so that you have someone to practice with. If that's not possible, we can assign you a practice buddy (someone else signed up for the same course) and provide you with their contact info, so that you can "meet" virtually each week to practice the material.
Courses will be offered through a platform called "Thinkific", designed for students to take online classes. It is very user friendly and easy to use. Read about our different programs below; we are in the process of making them available; we will first be launching Spanish 101, and by the end of February, should have all courses online.
TUITION
Crash course: $75 (+ tax) for a 4-week course. Each week students will watch a pre-recorded video, to be used in conjunction with the included curriculum (as well as several resources for homework and additional practice). Students will also meet weekly with an assigned buddy to practice the material.
Spanish 101, 102, 103: $150 (+ tax) for a 9-week course. Each week students will watch a pre-recorded video, to be used in conjunction with the included curriculum (as well as several resources for homework and additional practice). Students will also meet weekly with an assigned buddy to practice the material.

CRASH COURSE- designed as a 4-week course and meant for students with no experience who will soon be traveling to a Spanish-speaking country and would like to be able to communicate somewhat with locals. Students will learn important phrases needed during their trip (please repeat, how do you say, I need help, etc), introductions (what's your name, where are you from, etc), how to say the date & time, question words, vocabulary for different places, saying & understanding prices, ordering in a restaurant, asking for & understanding directions, names of stores and present tense verb conjugation.

SPANISH 101- designed as a 9-week course, students will learn vocabulary for introducing themselves and greeting others, important phrases to communicate with locals when traveling, how to say the date & time, describe the weather, talk about clothing, alphabet, present tense verb conjugation, question words, and places. Meant for students with little to no experience, or returning to Spanish after a long hiatus.

SPANISH 102- designed as a 9-week course, students will learn how to discuss the frequency of which we do activities, learn colors & 3-digit numbers, airport vocabulary, describing people with adjectives, expressing likes/dislikes, conjugation of past tense to say what you did yesterday, and vocab for family members.
IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITH SPANISH 102, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ANSWER 70% OF THE QUESTIONS BELOW; IF YOU CAN'T, PLEASE START WITH SPANISH 101.

SPANISH 103- designed as a 9-week course, students will learn how to conjugate irregular present verb conjugation, have a conversation, food vocabulary & expressing opinions, describing animals, prepositions, present progressive tense, beach vocabulary, occupations, when to use SER, types of stores, and conjunctions.
IN ORDER TO BE SUCCESSFUL WITH 103, YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO ANSWER 70% OF THE QUESTIONS BELOW; IF YOU CAN'T, PLEASE REVIEW THE QUESTIONS FOR SPANISH 102.
